If you're anything like us, you probably love Kliin's reusable towels! And this cleaning tool is also a great way to collaborate with local artists. Which means you get to enjoy a little Canadian art in your home!

Our two new designs were created by none other than LeBicar. This is our second pop-up collection, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We first discovered David Bicari through his other collaborations, and he was such a perfect fit for our brand, we just knew he would be the next artist to appear on TUC’s Kliin towels.

Learn more about him, his creative process, and his definition of cleanliness.

Who is David Bicari, aka LeBicar?

I was born in Montreal, grew up in the suburbs (in Repentigny), and returned to the island about 10 years ago. I've always known I wanted to do something creative! Drawing and art really are the ways I've found to connect, meet, and bring people together!

How do you get inspired? But most importantly, how did you go about creating the Kliins?

I usually draw inspiration from my everyday relationships and interactions. I always try to illustrate complex concepts or ideas simply. I often achieve this through visual metaphors.

For the collaboration with Kliin and TUC, I wanted to show the environmental benefits of the products in a soft and sleek way. Knowing that Kliins are often on display in kitchens and bathrooms, I wanted to keep the design understated, but unique! I'm very happy with the results :)

What did you like most about this project?

There's always a Kliin on the edge of the sink at my house, and I always thought it was like a mini canvas! So I'd say the product format, as simple as it is, was really fun to work with!

What is your idea of cleanliness?

I've been comfortable with what I call organized chaos for a long time, but I have to admit that when everything is clean and in its place, it's easier to be productive and think clearly!

Without going overboard with it, cleanliness for me is synonymous with well-being and peace of mind.
