Sending the kids off to school in morning with a zero waste lunch box might sound or look a bit more complicated until you actually try it. Not only does educate the kids to be more conscious on the amount of waste we send to landfills, it also brings awareness to speak up about these issues with classmates and teachers. The lunchbox is the perfect opportunity to instill zero waste values and habits to the kids.

Switching to the zero waste lunch box was a learning process for us. We started by replacing individual yogurt cups to glass mason jars, and progressively added reusable accessories from then on. I have gathered below a short yet very practical list of accessories that can be found in the kids’ lunch box every single day.

Small thermos for warm or cold meals : Thermos

Insulated mug for water: Zojirushi

Three-in-one lunchbox : Ecolunchbox

Spork and napkin: Dans le sac

Snack bags:  la fabrik eco
