The two formulas are notably different. The Shampoo Bar is preservative free because it contains no water, and it comes in a plastic free packaging, aligning with our mission to reduce our collective environmental impact.

Our Shampoo Bar contains gentle, naturally derived ingredients that won’t dull your hair colour. However, it doesn’t include the protective agents usually found in products specifically designed for colour-treated hair. So, while it won’t harm your colour, it won’t enhance it either.

Love it more than liquid!

I received a free sample of this shampoo bar and I'm absolutely floored by how amazing it is and how much I love it! I've tried plenty of shampoo bars in the past, and have always been disappointed and always returned to traditional liquid shampoo. Not this time! I prefer this bar over liquid and will absolutely purchase and use it moving forward. It cleans even better and easier than liquid (I feel like my roots are getting CLEAN) and you only need a small amount, even for long hair! Love it, love it, so grateful for the sample!

Shockingly good

I've tried a lot of solid shampoo bars over the years. I try them about once a year in a fit of zero-waste ambition, and I ALWAYS end up throwing them out because they don't lather enough, they dry my hair out, they smell weird, or I just can't get them to slip through my fairly fine, straight, long hair. This bar from The Unscented Company solves all of those problems!! It lathers super well in my hands without a weird smell, and spreads perfectly on my scalp and through the lengths of my hair. It rinsed out easily and left my hair shiny and soft. I'm used to using upscale shampoos from beauty stores (think $40-50 a bottle) so this is also going to save me a ton of money. Love that.

Great shampoo

I love this shampoo. I cannot use scented shampoo at all. I have tried every possible kind of unscented or scent-free shampoo. This is the brand that works. It cleans PLUS there is no wasteful bottle. I was incredibly skeptical that a bar shampoo would work. I am a complete believer. Each bar lasts me about 3 months. This is truly good shampoo.
