With The Unscented Company, Anie Rouleau is shaping the company of tomorrow—one that embraces a sustainable and profitable business model that prioritizes the common good. Born in Montréal to a family of entrepreneurs, she founded The Unscented Company in 2016 with the goal of redefining the notion of clean by offering a line of natural and unscented home and body care products. Her innovative products defy established norms and prove that efficiency can be synonymous with sustainability.
While traveling the world in 2003, she quickly realized the urgency of taking action to reduce the impact of our daily habits and routines on the environment. Anie encourages the adoption of refillable packaging and solid, waterless products—a concrete solution to help eliminate single-use plastic and protect our waterways.
As a passionate social innovator, Anie also dedicates her time to democratizing the B Corp business model. An ambassador and pioneer of the movement in Canada’s cleaning products industry, she shares her vision of sustainable business by focusing on local sourcing, ethical and female-led management, and equal opportunity employment, making her a true agent of change in the business community.
